Hey guys! I am SOO EXCITED about what God is doing in my life!
Since May I have been eagerly seeking a part time nurse tech position for the summer. Forty applications later without a single interview I became disappointed. I let go. Two days after, in church, the Papua New Guinea medical mission trip (with Joyce Meyer’s Hands of Hope Ministry) was announced. I froze. God spoke to my heart and told me He had better plans for my summer than the ones I tried to make. WOW! I fell to my knees. It is AMAZING what God does and how He speaks to us when we let go and let God! I am so ecstatic about being able to serve Jesus and others on this mission trip!!!!!!
Prayers Please…I know God has a place for me on this trip, I believe it with all my heart! The cost of the trip is a little over $4,000 (which for me is an awful lot considering I am a nursing student) however God is a BIG God…I know He will provide if it is His will for my attendance on this mission. Its funny to think about Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt. When they came to the Red Sea none of them expected God would part it. That is my prayer…that God would provide in the most unexpected way. He is ALMIGHT God, He turned water into wine and sent manna from Heaven, I know there’s nothing He can’t do! I am giving Him complete control. I have raised over half through a garage sale, jambalaya dinner sale, donations and coffee fundraisers. I believe in the power of prayer..the Bible says “ask anything in My name and you have received it!” And I am an even stronger believer in the power of prayer in numbers. If you could join with me in prayer that God would provide the supplementary funding for this mission trip I would Greatly appreciate it! The money was due July 1, 2010, but I received an extension until Friday July 9! Thank you for your prayers!! God bless you & hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
