ABOUT ME AND WHERE THE LORD HAS CALLED ME!
I grew up in Reston, VA and attended RBC starting in high school. I became a Christian toward the end of high school, and I attended George Mason University where I majored in dance. It was through Campus Crusade for Christ that I learned how to walk with God and developed a passion for making Jesus Christ known to the lost. I still love to dance, and God makes sure to keep in in my life. I also enjoy concerts, writing, art, hiking, running, being thrifty, and keeping healthy.
In 2005, God called me to Maracaibo, Venezuela to work with the campus ministry umbrella under Campus Crusade for Christ. I heard the Lord’s call so clearly to go even though I had never been. I had heard that the harvest was ripe and the workers few. After a year there, I knew the Lord was calling me back for a 2nd year to finish the work I started. After my second year, I could not do one more year. I had to commit to at least 3, or try something else. The Lord, once again, made it clear that His work through me on the college campuses in Maracaibo, Venezuela was not done. I raised support and returned for my first year as full-time staff in September of 2008. This coming September marks my first year as the local director. I am not sure how much longer God wants me to be here, but I am sure in my calling to me a missionary overseas, wherever the Lord leads me.
